Use the Software tab on a hardware asset to see the software assigned to the asset and the software installed on the asset. The Installed Software section may show software installed on virtual machines of the asset.
To find the assigned and installed software of an asset:
Go to the Hardware Asset Management > Hardware Assets > All Hardware Assets view.
Open a hardware asset in the list.
Select the Software tab.
Review the assigned and installed software for the asset.
